I've been inspired by labor and birth for most of my life. Living through (or maybe more accurately: stumbling through) my own perinatal season launched me into birthwork in 2022. With each family I support, my passion for this space explodes even more, and I've come to adopt these beliefs as centrtal to my approach:
In my child-bearing era, I lived through three vastly different births - an emergency C-section, a successful VBAC, and an empowering CBAC. Between them, I faced postpartum anxiety, feeding journeys both challenging and easeful, and secondary infertility. I don't know what your journey looks like (yet!), but I do know you deserve the experience that feels the best for you.
Labor and birth (and parenthood, really!) are unpredictable by nature. However, if we can ground ourself in how we want to feel through our experiences (present, empowered, confident. etc.), we can make values-based decisions on our journey. When we act from our values, we can let go
of controlling specific outcomes and create positive experiences through holding onto our sense of control.
In this season, bodies need space to grow and birth babies. Birthers and their partners need space to make informed decisions, connect with each other and their baby, and sometimes just to take in the massive transition! Whether we work together prenatally, through labor, or in postpartum, my goal is to create and hold the space for you need to thrive on this journey.

Your unique values, beliefs, and feelings contribute to your desires through pregnancy and parenthood. As your doula, I can support you in creating a vision to ground your journey.
You want you and your baby to be healthy and happy. I provide you with real-time, evidence-based information so you can confidently decide about your care through labor and birth.
You deserve to feel safe, connected, and confident, especially during labor. I advocate for the labor and birth experience you want through gentle encouragement and coaching.
You will experience discomfort, sometimes even pain, throughout pregnancy, labor and birth, and postpartum. I support you with physical and emotional coping strategies.
Your journey will require emotional adjustments and physical healing. I create space for you through practical contributions to your household and personal care during your postpartum months.
Sometimes, you simply need companionship. I am a nonjudgmental cheerleader, confidant, and friend on the journey. (Who occasionally shows up with baked goods!)
